BCS / External Data Columns support
External Data columns user SharePoint Business connectivity Services (BCS) to connect with external systems/databases.
The Save to SharePoint window supports display External Data Columns for
- SharePoint 2010
- SharePoint 2013
- SharePoint 2016
- SharePoint 2019
Configure OnePlace Solutions to support BCS columns
There is no client side configuration required.
An additional component is required to be installed on your SharePoint server to support BCS columns. The component can be downloaded here
Install / upgrade the component prior to installing OnePlaceMail and OnePlaceDocs on each client machine
When BCS columns are available on a document library they will automatically be presented in the 'Save to SharePoint' dialog box.
